Modern life is strongly formed by digital media. We dip into digital surroundings everyday and go back and forth from real to digital matter. Do we really always know in which world we are?

Marilyn Monroe's Mole
A series of seven posterprints, 100 cm x 100 cm.

A Google-image of Marilyn Monroe was zoomed to her mole up to 3200% and transformed using six different effects. Each image was repainted on canvas with acryl, then scanned and again digitally post-worked, still leaving marks of the scans (dust, influences of light) and strokes of the brush.
